Director of Fundraising
Julie joined the Strategic Partners of SC team in May 2019 and currently serves as Director of Fundraising. In this role, she combines strategic insight with a people-first approach to cultivate strong relationships that promote collaboration and deliver meaningful outcomes. She is committed to uniting individuals and organizations – in the public and private sector – around common objectives, fostering lasting connections and executing impactful events with precision and intention.
Upon joining SPSC, Julie served as the Deputy Finance Director of Governor Henry McMaster and Lt. Governor Pamela Evette’s successful re-election campaign, which cemented McMaster as South Carolina’s longest serving governor in history. She then spearheaded the effort to raise over $1.2 million for the 98th SC Inaugural Committee.
Julie leads the day-to-day fundraising operations for Speaker Murrell Smith and the SC House Republican Caucus, utilizing a vast network of corporate and personal relationships in South Carolina and around the United States.
During her time with Strategic Partners of SC, Julie has traveled across the country supporting a range of clients at the Federal level. In the high-stakes 2020 election cycle, she joined the finance team for current Ambassador and former U.S. Senator David Perdue (GA) during his historic nine-week runoff campaign, which became the most expensive Senate race in U.S. history at that time. Julie also supports the finance efforts of U.S. House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (MN) and U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (TN), both of whom won re-election in 2024 as part of the broader mission to maintain the House Majority and reclaim the Senate.
In addition to her work in political fundraising, Julie has also provided public relations, communications, and advocacy campaign services to SPSC's corporate clients. She believes that maintaining a diverse portfolio of work – from quick turnaround projects to large scale productions – brings depth, versatility and sharpness to the work she delivers.
Julie is a proud graduate and avid supporter of Clemson University, where she actively serves as a member of the Board of Visitors. Julie and her husband, Matt, reside in Mount Pleasant, SC.
